In February 2026, Verein für Naturschutz und Umweltbildung took an important step in its international development by submitting its first Erasmus+ Youth project application under the KA152 – Youth Exchanges programme. This marks a significant milestone for our organisation as we expand our work in environmental education and youth engagement to the European level.

The KA152 Erasmus+ Youth Exchange programme provides young people from different countries with the opportunity to meet, learn from each other, and collaborate on topics that are important for the future of Europe. Through this programme, organisations can create international learning environments where young participants gain new skills, exchange ideas, and develop stronger intercultural understanding.

Our proposed project focuses on environmental awareness, sustainability, and youth participation in nature protection. The idea behind the project is to bring together young people from different countries to explore environmental challenges such as climate change, biodiversity protection, and sustainable lifestyles. Through non-formal learning methods, outdoor activities, workshops, and collaborative discussions, the project aims to encourage young people to become more active in protecting the environment and contributing to sustainable communities.

Submitting our first KA152 project application is an exciting moment for our organisation. It reflects our commitment to expanding opportunities for young people and strengthening international cooperation in the field of environmental education and sustainability.

At the moment, we are waiting with great excitement for the results of the February 2026 Erasmus+ call. Regardless of the outcome, this experience already represents an important step forward in our organisational development and in our efforts to connect young people with environmental action across Europe.

We hope that this will be the beginning of many international collaborations, allowing us to create meaningful learning experiences for young people while contributing to environmental awareness and sustainable development.

Stay tuned for updates — we look forward to sharing the results with our community soon!
